Bruno Cunha was born in Brasília, Brazil (1992), since 2017 he lives in Prague, Czech Republic, where he has worked as a composer and clarinetist of contemporary music. Bruno studied his bachelor's degree in Music Composition at the University of Brasília, under the guidance of Flávio Santos Pereira. In 2020, he completed his master's degree in Electroacoustic Composition at HAMU, Prague, under the guidance of Michal Rataj.

Throughout his career, Bruno has also studied with composers such as Anders Flodin, Flo Menezes, John Richards, Pierre Alexandre Tremblay, Patricia Alessandrini, Leigh Landy, Tatiana Catanzaro, Silvio Ferraz, Iva Oplištilová, Jan Trojan, Miroslav Tóth, Slavomír Hořínka, Pavel Zlámal among others.

His music has been played in Brazil, England, Ireland Italy, Mexico, Czech Republic and Sweden. His performances as a clarinet player focus on the use of live electronics and free improvisation. His research in music focuses on the fields of transtextuality, sound ecology, materialism and sonic hauntology.
